It’s September, time to bring on those FRESH Spring vibes. FRESH SEP is an extra zesty offering!
The malt grist is a blend of pilsner, chit wheat, wheat malt and malted oats. That pilsner malt just nudges the colour of SEP from the pale green gold of the last couple of months, to a glowing orange wedding ring gold, with a note of sweet fresh baked baguette crust in the aroma and palate.
There’s an irrepressible touch of Riwaka in the whirlpool, followed by a novel blend of Citra, Loral and all new hop variety Zumo. Zumo is grown at the Segal Ranch in the lower Yakima Valley, the same innovative hop farm that also recently brought us Anchovy.
We found this hop on the selection table at last year's US hop harvest and our notes have ‘LIME ZEST!’ written in capital letters. This is the first time we’ve used it, but you’ll be seeing it again soon! So how does this all come together? Bright tangerine notes on the nose are followed by a palate that’s packed with lifted juicy citrus lime, grapefruit and tangerine, with green table grape and lychee back notes.
The ultimate Spring clean - bright, smashable, zesty and loaded with citrus lime. Let the sunshine in.
